Seriale asteptate in 2016: partea 2

6. The Magicians
Debuts January 25 on Syfy

Described nearly everywhere as a sexy, adult take on Harry Potter, Syfy's latest series is set in an elite college where aspiring magicians receive training. (And we're not talking about a group of would-be David Blaines; this is a world where magic is very real.) The 13-episode series (whose first episode had a sneak preview last month and will be repeated on the 25th) is based on Lev Grossman's fantasy novel of the same name.

7. You, Me and the Apocalypse
Debuts January 28 on NBC

NBC is returning comedy to its Thursday night lineup—in a way. A co-production with the UK's Sky 1, this 10-episode dramedy event series from Beaver Falls creator Iain Hollands is set in the days after the public learns that a massive comet is on a collision course with Earth and will wipe out nearly all life on the planet in just over a month's time. A diverse group of people—including a foul-mouthed priest played by Rob Lowe, Jenna Fischer's mild mannered librarian, and an unhinged white supremacist played by Megan Mullally—hunker down in a bunker east of London to watch the end of the world on TV and eke out a new society.

8. American Crime Story:
The People v. O.J. Simpson
Debuts February 2 on FX

The true-crime analogue to American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy's latest anthology series (created with Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski ofThe People vs. Larry Flynt fame) will focus on a different (in)famous case in each season. Up first is the 1994-95 murder trial of O.J. Simpson. Early buzz on the series is good, but even without strong reviews it would be hard to resist catching at least a glimpse of Sarah Paulson playing Marcia Clark, David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, Cuba Gooding, Jr. as O.J., John Travolta as Robert Shapiro, Connie Britton as Faye Resnick, Bruce Greenwood as Gil Garcetti, and Courtney B. Vance as Johnnie Cochran—to name just a few of the major names that populate the huge cast.

9. Teen Woolf season 5
January 5

Teen Wolf is a highly-rated American horror, supernatural and romance dramedy television show that is broadcast on the MTV channel in the United States. The mystery drama series was developed by Jeff Davis and it is loosely based on the 1985 eponymous feature movie co-penned by Jeph Loeb and Matthew Weisman. The TV show is a creative collaboration between Adelstein Productions, DiGa Vision, Lost Marbles Television, MGM Television and Siesta Productions. The series debuted in the US on June 5, 2011.

10. Not Safe With Nikki Glaser
Debuts February 9 on Comedy Central

Will Nikki Glaser be Comedy Central's next breakout star? She's certainly following the blueprint established by Amy Schumer: growing stand-up career, a stint on Last Comic Standing, and then an eponymous, genre-mixing Comedy Central series. Like Schumer's show (which will
also return at some point this year), Not Safe will blend sketches with one-on-one conversations and other filmed segments, with an emphasis on "taboo" topics like sex and, well, more sex.

Nu stiam ca se va face un spin off la American Horror Story, insa pare destul de interesant. Cel mai entuziasta sunt pentru sezonul 5 din Teen Wolf.
